Rubber Plant

Ficus elastica

₹549

Glossy, oversized leaves in deep burgundy-green. Architectural, statement-worthy, and genuinely easier than its cousin the Fiddle Leaf Fig. A single mature rubber plant can change the feel of an entire room — which is why designers reach for it more often than they reach for a Monstera.

Native to the hills of Northeast India and Malaysia, so it's effectively a native here. Tolerates Indian summers well. Doesn't like to be moved around — pick a spot and commit.

Shipped alive, across India.

We hand-pack every plant in ventilated, moisture-locked packaging. Dispatched Monday through Thursday, so your plant doesn't spend weekends in a warehouse. Delivery in 3–7 days depending on your pin code.

Alive-on-arrival promise.

If your plant arrives damaged or dies within 30 days, send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll replace it — hassle-free, with no shipping fees.

Climate-smart dispatch.

In May heatwaves or December cold snaps, we pause shipments to certain zones to protect the plant. We'll email you before dispatch, never later than 48h after your order.

The bottom leaves are dropping — why?

Usually underwatering combined with low light. Check soil moisture and move it closer to a window. Losing 1–2 old leaves as the plant grows is normal.

White sap came out when I pruned it — is it dangerous?

The sap is a skin irritant and mildly toxic if ingested. Wash hands after pruning and keep the sap off children and pets.

Can I get a burgundy variety instead of green?

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp to request the "Burgundy" or "Ruby" cultivar — we usually have a few in our beds.
