The plant that lives on every moodboard. Big heart-shaped leaves that fenestrate — split and hole up — as the plant matures. Native to Central American rainforests, genuinely happy in most Indian homes if you give it bright indirect light and don't drown it.

Ours are grown in our Mumbai beds for 8–14 months before they're ready to ship. Each one comes with a printed care card, a moss pole if you choose the climbing variant, and a personal note.

Light

Bright, indirect light. A few feet from an east or north-facing window is ideal. Will scorch in direct sun.

Water

Once a week in summer, every 10–14 days in winter. Let the top 2 inches dry between waterings.

Humidity

Loves humidity. Mist leaves 2-3 times a week, especially in dry winters. Groups well with other plants.

Temperature

Happy between 18°C and 30°C. Keep away from AC vents and cold drafts in winter.

Will this plant survive in my low-light flat?

Monstera tolerates medium light but won't produce new fenestrated leaves. For a small, low-light flat, a Snake Plant, ZZ, or Pothos will actually thrive.

Does it come with a moss pole?

The Statement size comes with a moss pole. Baby and Medium sizes don't — add a pole to your order for ₹149.

Is it safe for my cat or dog?

No. Monstera is toxic to pets. For pet-friendly homes try the Areca Palm or Spider Plant.
