The money-tree succulent. Plump, coin-shaped leaves on a thick woody stem — traditionally gifted to new homes and businesses for prosperity. Lives for decades with minimal care, and eventually grows into a small tree-like bonsai that's worth showing off.

A succulent, so it's the opposite of most houseplants: it wants direct sunlight and very little water. Easy to mistake as a low-maintenance indoor plant — it's actually a low-maintenance outdoor or windowsill plant.

In May heatwaves or December cold snaps, we pause shipments to certain zones to protect the plant. We'll email you before dispatch, never later than 48h after your order.

The leaves are shriveling — underwatered?

Yes. Shriveled, soft leaves on a jade plant = it needs water. Firm, plump leaves = do not water. Read the leaf, not a schedule.

My jade is getting leggy and leaning — why?

Not enough light. Move it to a south-facing window or outdoor balcony. Rotate the pot weekly so it grows straight.

Can I grow a new plant from a fallen leaf?

Absolutely. Let the leaf callus for 2–3 days, then place it on dry soil. In 4–6 weeks, roots appear. A new jade plant from a single leaf.
