The plant your grandmother kept alive for forty years without trying. Upright, sword-like leaves that tolerate low light, infrequent watering, and the occasional month of neglect. One of the few plants NASA tested and confirmed actively purifies indoor air, even releasing oxygen at night.
If you've killed a plant before, start here. Snake plants are genuinely hard to kill — the most common cause of death is overwatering, which our care card warns against in bold. Survives Delhi summers, Bangalore monsoons, and Bombay humidity without complaint.
Tolerates anything from low light to bright indirect. Will thrive, not just survive, near an east window.
Every 2–3 weeks in summer, once a month in winter. Seriously. The #1 killer is overwatering.
Doesn't care about humidity. Happy in dry Delhi winters and Mumbai monsoons alike.
Tolerates 10°C to 35°C. Avoid freezing temperatures.

In May heatwaves or December cold snaps, we pause shipments to certain zones to protect the plant. We'll email you before dispatch, never later than 48h after your order.
Almost certainly overwatered. Stop watering for 3 weeks. If the yellowing is mushy at the soil line, unpot and check for rot.
Possibly, but it will grow very slowly. A windowless bathroom with fluorescent lighting is the absolute minimum — the plant will survive but not thrive.
Snake plants are naturally slow growers. Expect 2–3 new leaves per year, not per month. That's normal and healthy.
